I’m Gabe Painter, a 18-Year-old creative currently in my second year of a level 3 National Extended Diploma in Creative Media practice, Film. My primary future aspiration is to become a Cinematographer.

Lighting and the control of the overall ‘look’ of a film has always appealed to me.Therefore, working on making films and broadening my overall film knowledge has been my key focus.​

My biggest inspirations are Edgar Wright and Roger Deakins. Deakins’ on-set problem solving, innovation, and visual consistency has made a lasting impact on me. Each and every interview he has taken part ​in is so knowledge infused that I can’t help but let his words influence the way I view film as a medium. I carry his ethos and resilient mentality with me on all my endeavours, especially those related to my love of all things Film/Media.
